Agatha has broad industry experience obtained working at COMESA in the Trade, Customs and Monetary Division in Lusaka, Zambia. While at COMESA, she created linkages between SMEs in the COMESA region and undertook missions to COMESA member countries (Malawi, Kenya and Sudan) to sensitize the local statistical offices on the COMESA Infrastructure Statistical Framework among other activities.
Inspired from her work with SMEs within COMESA, Agatha decided to join institutions that would have an impact on SMEs. She worked as a Risk Assistant with Uganda Development Bank (UDB) and Microfinance Support Centre (MSC) where she analyzed the risk profiles of prospective clients and made recommendations on the clients that ought to be financed.
Agatha holds a BSc Degree (Hons) from Makerere University with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. She is currently pursuing CFA Level III and an MSc in Quantitative Economics at Makerere University.
