Lois started her career at Uganda Revenue Authority and Ministry of Tourism as a Trainee. She later joined Film 256 where she worked as a Grants Writer and Projects Officer. The role involved sourcing for grant funding, developing grant proposals and working closely with donor representatives. A key highlight was the formation of the Women in Film Initiative (WIFI). The initiative was funded by the U.S Mission in Uganda and brought together a network of 30 female film makers with the objective of accelerating female representation in the Ugandan film industry.
Lois prides herself in having impeccable verbal and written communication skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
